2 years ago today...Anniversary Blog

Two years ago today, Bethany and I tied the knot. We thought it would be a great time to catch everyone up on what we have done the past two years. We started out our journey with a one week honeymoon in Coast Rica, a place we would love to visit again and enjoyed the layed-back atmosphere. One month later we were both on our way to Europe on a 200 ft. private yacht. The trip across the Atlantic took 10 days and we were in Europe for 3 months. We enjoyed the sites of South of France, the west coast of Italy, Spain, and many more beautiful islands. After our first job together we headed back to the Mid West to celebrate our wedding with a reception. Then off to West Palm Beach, FL. We rented a 2 bedroom house for dirt cheap and lived civilian life for 4 months before we got our next permanent job. While looking for work we hopped around from boat to boat working day to day or if we were fortunate enough week to week. Finally a permanent job came, leading us over to Europe once again. We flew to Malta, where our journey began sailing up the east coast of Italy, cutting over to Croatia from Venice, sailing down Croatia and finally finishing out our summer in Greece for 4 months. All in all it lasted 10 months. After a rest at home for a short month, we started the job search once again in Ft. Lauderdale. It took 7 days before Bethany was on a new boat sailing the Caribbean stopping at the British Virgin Islands, USVI's, and Puerto Rico. I got on a boat heading up to West Palm Beach and after 3ish months apart, Bethany and I were reunited and starting on a new boat which is also the current boat we are working on. It's been a whirl wind two years but we have loved all we have done and feel really good about where we are now. Who knows where the next two years will lead us but one thing is for sure we'll be ready for it and sharing it with you. -Andrew
